6. The Trevi Fountain
| Starting on an early morning walk we discovered that the Trevi Fountain, always a highlight of a visit to Rome, was surrounded by barriers and scaffolding and was inaccessible to visitors. We therefore decided to include this photo, taken on our 1996 visit to Rome, before the advent of digital photography. |
