47. Arriving at the Torres del Paine National Park
| We have travelled from Chiloe to Punta Arenas, in the far south of Chile, and are driving a rented car to Torres del Paine National Park, in Patagonia. As we approach the national park, we are treated to our first glimpses of the famous mountains and towers (the "torres"). We stop for a photograph beside a group of guanacos.
