5. Atacama Desert and Volcano Lascar
| After arriving in Calama we transferred to San Pedro de Atacama, in the Atacama desert. Our first outing was an "archeological tour" to the excavated village of Tulor. On arrival at the site, our first view is of the desert with the perfect shape of volcano Lascar in the background. Lascar is the most active volcano in the Chilean Andes. |
