| The Great Buddha of Kamakura is a bronze statue which stands in the grounds of Kotokuin Temple. It is the second tallest bronze Buddha in Japan (13.35 meters), being surpassed only by theDaibutsu in theTodaiji Temple in Nara, which we will see later in our trip. |
