12. The Vatican Museums
| Having pre-booked, we were able to go straight to the head of the queue for the tour of the Vatican museums, saving hours of queueing. The tour is a "flood of people" which takes you through corridors, halls and rooms, all decorated with centuries of art, statuary and tapestries. Today it is particularly crowded. |
