43. Hippos close to mkoro at Kwara camp
| Although the guides bang their poles agains the side of the mkoro to "scare off" the hippos, the hippos don't want to move. In fact, some of them move alarmingly close with loud snorting noises . Our guides set new records for speed in poling the mkoros into the long reeds at the edge of the lagoon. Fortunately, the hippos did not follow. |
