7. Yuyuan Garden, Shanghai
| The Yuyuan Garden was established during the Ming dynasty (16th century). Its gardens, pools, bridges and pavilions cover a number of hectares. This "zig zag" bridge crosses the lotus pool to the tea house. Evil spirits cannot turn corners, so are unable to cross the bridge. |
