The Red Centre of Australia, 2010

This is an album of photos taken during our 10 day drive from Adelaide, in the south of Australia, to Alice Springs, in the "Red Centre" of the country in September, 2010.

The drive was roughly 2,500 kilometres and took us through what is normally desert countryside.

However, there had been unseasonal rains before we started and we encountered more rain during the trip. The desert was beginning to bloom, and we can now boast of having seen Ayers Rock (Uluru) in the rain!
