Cherry Blossoms in Kanazawa, Japan
| Kanazawa is a smallish city, with a population around 500,000. It would seem that this has enabled development to be controlled, with much of its older character retained. These lanterns on the esplanade beside the river make a pretty picture with the display of cherry blossoms. |
