Buddhist monk in Luang Prabang, Laos

Luang Prabang, the capital of the Kingdom of Laos until the communist takeover in 1975, is a beautiful town with a very French colonial style. With many Buddhist temples and monasteries, Buddhist monks make up more than 10% of the population. This monk, walking along the main street of Luang Prabang past Wat Sop, makes an interesting photo.
