Leopard, Serengeti National Park, Tanzania

While in the Serengeti, we are lucky enough to find a leopard high in a tree beside the road. After a kill, a leopard will usually drag all or part of its prey into the tree (up to twice its own body weight), and rest and feed there. In this case, part of a carcass has been jammed into a fork in the tree not far from the leopard.
