Statue of Ramses II inside Luxor Temple, Egypt
| During our 2006 trip through Egypt we become very familiar with statues of Ramses II, who created many monuments in his own honour. Here he is seated in the Great Court of Ramses II, within Luxor temple on the banks of the Nile. Like all of his statues, it is enormous and set in impressive surroundings. |
